Mr. Squeak and Smidgineeg by Laurie Zanardelli

'The great Goddess Bast looked down on her son,
and said 'Kitty Mau it's time that you come
home to where you're again young and free,
and there is no pain to hinder thee.
Come to the Summerlands, I'll show you the way
to where Zachary and Dizzy are waiting to play!'
So the beautiful Squeakers looked at mom and dad
and said 'Please let me go now, and don't be sad.
This body I'm in now is so full of pain,
let me go to the Summerlands, and live again!
Zachary and Dizzy are waiting for me,
we'll come back again, I promise, you'll see.
You'll feel the light touch of our paws in the night
just checking to make sure everything is alright.
I promise we'll come back mom and dad don't you see?
The great Goddess Bast promised it to me.'

A Return to the Old Age Wisdom by our dear and good brother, Doug Luzar

The Plants and Animals do not need us, we need them. Without us, the Earth would return to balance. All our Ancestors had this knowledge. It is time to return to Old Age Wisdom. Love is the not only the best, it is the only Medicine to heal the Earth today. Love Travels between the Worlds, like Sweetgrass and Music. Deepen Your Laugh and Smile lines, they are Beauty. Drink Deeply. Keep Dancin!!!

Owl

In the mystery and wonder of Goddess’ night
Owl spreads her great wings and takes to flight
Full moon lavishes silver on Owl’s path at night
As she dives and glides in her spectacular flight

Darkness the glory of Goddess’ night
For Owl is the medium of perfect sight
Eyes lit with wisdom rule in silvery night
With awareness unimaginable to human sight

Hecate the Goddess who rules sacred night
Embraces with darkness Owl’s elegant flight
Moonlit wings in turn caress the soul of night
Goddess and Owl are magically one in flight
