The Tulip, one of the earliest of the spring bloomers, is
seen in myriad colors and a number of presentations – from standard to fancy
to pointed to ruffled to multi-petaled.
It is important with the tulip to let her leaves brown and die back as
much as possible before cutting her down at the end of her bloom time. The bulb draws energy from the sun through
the leaves. This energy sustains the
bulb throughout the winter.
